Dr. Maynard has served patients throughout the greater Harrisburg area for over 35 years. In this time, Dr. Maynard has developed a reputation for excellence in the community.
Dr. Maynard earned his undergraduate degree from Ursinus College and his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. He continually builds upon his professional expertise by attending seminars and courses to enhance his clinical and service excellence. Committed to life-long learning and on-going development, he has completed more than 2000 hours of continuing education in areas ranging from practice excellence and optimal patient service to dental cosmetics, dental implants, and restoration.
Dr. Maynard remains on the leading edge of progressive dental practices and techniques, while also instilling satisfaction and loyalty among his patients, and staff alike. Not only does he serve a large number of patients who have seen him for over 35 years, but over half of his staff has worked in his practice for at least 30 years. His commitment to providing exceptional dental care while fostering a pleasant environment for both patients and staff is evident in every aspect of his work.
One of the most gratifying aspects of his work is the ability to apply his clinical and technical expertise, in a personal way, to the patients that he serves. Dr. Maynard continually lives out his mission of delivering excellent, quality care, in a personalized and caring way. Treating patients like family or friends is a cornerstone of his service.

In his leisure time, Dr. Maynard enjoys many outdoor activities including skiing, road and mountain biking, running, and gardening. Dr. Maynard and his wife, Beverly, have a son, John, and daughter-in-law, Tori, who reside in Burlington, Vermont.
